Adjudicator: Jilliane Yawney

 Jilliane Yawney is a storyteller, librarian and speech arts instructor. She is active in the storytelling community in Calgary and is the founder of the Calgary Story Slam.

 Jilliane has an Associates of Speech and Dramatic Arts, a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a focus on theatre and a Master's of Library and Information Studies. During her Master's degree, Jilliane wrote a thesis exploring how storytelling can be used as a pedagogical tool.

 Jilliane has conducted many workshops on storytelling and voice, helping students to identify and craft compelling stories. She teaches Speech and Dramatic Arts at Mount Royal Conservatory.
